GAIL KENNEDY holds a Bachelors of Science in Music Education from West Virginia University of Technology. Her long list of accomplishments in music education include award winning marching bands, concert bands, and show choirs.  In addition to teaching, Gail has been the alto soloist with the West Virginia Symphony in performances of Handel’s Messiah, Verdi Requiem, and Mozart’s Requiem Mass.  She has also had leading roles in the University of Charleston’s performances of Mehitabel the Cat, and Hansel and Gretel.  Most recently, Gail was the vocal music director at Bonita Vista High School, from which she retired.  Born and raised in Charleston, WV, Gail is a proud native West Virginian.  She has three children - Ryan, Justin, and Katie Kennedy.  Gail currently resides in San Diego, CA.

DAVID LEGG holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from Liberty University as well as a Masters of Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from New York University. David taught in the public school system for eleven years where his choirs won numerous awards on both the state and national level. During his time as an educator Mr. Legg instructed at the secondary and collegiate levels, received several honors for excellence in teaching and was the chairman of the West Virginia Music Educators State Show Choir Festival. David has choreographed and arranged music for many top-ranking show choirs throughout the United States. He currently lives in San Diego where he is the Creative Director at Blank Canvas, designing and creating music arrangements, shows, home décor and events. GINA BOLLES SORENSEN One part dance educator, one part choreographer, and one part yogini, Gina Bolles Sorensen has the pleasure of talking about movement and the body all day long. As the Co-Artistic Director of somebodies dance theater, her choreography has been presented to critical acclaim at festivals in New York, San Francisco, Houston, Minneapolis, Mexico, and Israel, among others.  Awards include Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Dance Production at the SD International Fringe Festival, the SD Young Choreographers Prize, and Distinguished Alumni from the University of Oregon. She has published original research on imagery in dance learning in the Journal of Dance Education, has been the recipient of two grants to study classical Indian dance in India, and was awarded a National Artist Teacher Fellowship from the Boston Arts Academy Center for Arts in Education. Gina is the Director of the Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Dance at the Coronado School of the Arts. She also teaches dance at Grossmont College and yoga through her online website www.YogaNatyamOnline.com. Carmen Scoring is the premier scoring company in the show choir world and we are delighted to be working with them again for our event.  All scores will be entered on iPads by our judging panel and sent digitally to our directors after awards. Sample score sheets will be available soon.
