Auditions are now closed for the 2026-2027 school year. Audition information for the 2027-2028 school year will be available Monday, March 15, 2027. Auditions are May 3-7, 2027.

Most Music Machine Tenors and Basses (Men) did not dance before joining! We are here to help and teach you!
The Director will help you put together a four-year plan to make sure you graduate and stay in the VMD for all four high school years!
The Music Machine was one of the first competitive show choirs in Southern California and is the longest continuously running show choir in San Diego County! 50 years strong!
The Music Machine and Sound Unlimited continue to perform all over the community and continue to win top awards at festivals and competitions!
We have an amazing Tech Crew for those who want to be a part of the VMD magic, but prefer a “behind the scenes” and “backstage” role!
Our Vocal Music Foundation host countless fundraisers to support the financial needs of the program!
