Advanced Mixed Show Choir (Audition Group)
The Music Machine is Bonita Vista High School’s Advanced Mixed show choir. The Music Machine is proud to celebrate 50 years of excellence and has entertained audiences in 22 countries on four continents, including four Disney properties. Honored to serve the San Diego community, The Music Machine performs at community events such as Balboa Park’s December Nights, and the USS Midway Memorial Day Commemoration. The Music Machine has also been featured on television appearances including Cox’s “Salute to Teachers”, KUSI’s “Good Morning San Diego,” and CBS 8’s “The Zevely Zone.” This performing ensemble has won numerous top awards at state, national, and international competitions. The Music Machine is currently directed by Michael Atwood, an alumnus of the choir.

Intermediate Treble Show Choir (Audition Group)
Sound Unlimited is Bonita Vista High School’s award-winning treble show choir. This group of singer/dancers and technicians take great pride in setting the standard of excellence. This ensemble performs at numerous private and community events such as Balboa Park’s December Nights, and events of the Bonita Optimist Club. This ensemble has been featured on KUSI’s “Good Morning San Diego” and CBS 8’s “The Zevely Zone.” Sound Unlimited has traveled throughout Southern California, the United States, and abroad, participating in local, national, and international competitions.

VMD Tech Crew (Audition Group)
The Tech Crew is the foundation for all of the shows, providing lighting and sound, set design and construction, stage management, equipment maintenance, and more. The show could not go on without our Techs, who have won “Best Tech Crew” at Southern California competitions. The Tech Crew provides the perfect outlet for those students who want to learn what it takes to put on the show, but don’t want to be a performer. We couldn’t do what we do without our Techs! Tech Crew is an audition spot by interview with the Director.
